A host of great racing coming up for GSCC members.
Wednesday 7th October 2 lap time trial with the super vets. Younger members can have a go if they wish but will not be part of the results. The super vets have precedence on entries maximum 29 entries. Check with Ross West or John Bell.
Sunday 11th October Red Rock Classic at Cororook with the Colac Vets. 10am start. If you like a hill top finish and tough race this is for you. Again entries to Dave and he will pass them on to Colac. Also good luck to members and friends doing Around the Bay in a Day.
Wednesday October 14th Seniors Week – 9.30 am the Super vets will conduct a variety of cycling events at the Barwon Valley Cycling venue. It will include a barbeque and an opportunity to meet like-minded cyclists. It will also be a chance to enjoy the company of others over light refreshments and a ride on the track.
Saturday 17th Camperdown to Warnambool. 11.30am start at Camperdown, entries via the VVCC website, it should be another cracking race, then hang around Warnambool to see the finish of the 100th edition of the classic Melbourne to Warnambool. Ask around if you need a lift.
23-25th October Australian Champs in Adelaide, good luck to all the members heading to Adelaide.
Sunday 1st November. Our GSSC open race 5 laps. enter via the VVCC website. If you arent racing some volunteers will be required. Please let Marcus know if you can help. Please make sure you provide a plate of food and a raffle item to make it another great day.
We are sitting second in the state aggregate just 2 points behind Northern, so It would be awesome to win this for the first year and to beat Northern! So lets all try and get to the last two open races and get the GSCC win! Good luck to Tina Stenos, Tina is sitting third in the individual state aggregate.
Thursday night crit racing at Belmont starts next Thursday the 8th October, racing for all grades. Please arrive around 6pm to register for a 6.30 sharp start time.
The 2016 registration is now open which lasts till the end of 2016. So get your mates and other riders to join the GSCC for some great racing, banter and fun.
