The GSCC is hosting some big races over the next week
Criterium racing kicks things of this Thursday night at 6pm, a massive field last week with some very good racing.
This Sunday the Layard Park Open is being staged. We have a massive field of 120 entries, including 53 from Geelong and 41 from Northern making it an even fight for the state team aggregate. Will Brian Long hang in there to win the state individual aggregate? We proudly welcome out new sponsor Godings Kubota to the race this year.
For members who aren’t racing please help out pre, during and post race to make all the other club and family members feel welcome and to keep everything running smoothly. A sag wagon is required, if you have a car applicable for this let me know. We will require help with the raffle and kitchen and of course the clean up afterwards. Also don’t forget to thank your committee members as they have been doing a great deal of work to get this Sunday organised.
The GSCC Melbourne Cup on Wheels is on Tuesday 1st November at 10 am proudly run by the GSCC super-vets, please see the info sheet attached. This a well supported event and all members are eligible to enter. Entries to Dave Robinson by Sunday night please.
Thursday November 3 is race 1 in the Best Western Geelong Motor Inn criterium racing series, get down and check it out the racing is sure to be keen.
Sunday November 6 is a club aggregate race. With only 3 aggregates races for the rest of the year racing should be keen to get points to catch Josh Williams who has a handy lead over his nearest competitors
