Supervets once again took to the race track under near ideal conditions on Wednesday October 8. A light westerly wind prevailed. A larger field was pleasing and allowed for a few bunch contests. Rob Nicholls and Peter Ladd tested the back markers although responses from Laurie Fitzsimons, Barry Clay and Jeremy Tatchell were challenging and all overcoming a substantial time deficit to feature in a strong finish. Limit rider John Watson was given enough gap and was not headed.
Results: 1. J Watson, 2. R Nicholls, 3. B Clay, 4. P Ladd, 5. L Fitzsimons, 6. G Spargo, 7. J Tatchell, 8. T Spark.
Fastest time: R Nicholls 1.06.21
