Childhood Ambition: To be good at something?

Hobbies: Woodwork, Snorkelling, watching F1.

Cycling History:

How long have you been riding? Started as a little kid, rode to school in primary school and have been riding since.

When did you start racing? 2008 with GCC, 2009 with Geelong Vets,

What other sports have you been involved in? Ten Pin Bowling, Gridiron, Triathlon

Age Group and Handicap mark – 40-44, Usually A grade


Why did you join the club? To have a go at racing, racing on Sunday’s and Colin Hooper persuaded me to.

Do you have any goals to achieve? To sprint faster, and get better at hills, but these two things don’t seem to work together though.

Your greatest racing achievement? 3rd in my first Geelong open, winning my first club race. Also finishing Ironman New Zealand.

Riding experiences:

Best? Sprinting with the fast guys, its always a great challenge. Riding up Mt Donna Buang, that’s my longest hill!, it seemed to take forever.

Worst? Getting dropped in a race then hearing your bunch gets up and wins.

What’s your favourite training or social ride? Saturday Bunnings bunch 6am. A few sharp hills and attacks with a good group of riders

How often do you ride?  3-4 times a week including racing
